Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how zztirans.com, operated by Z TRANS SARL (SIREN 498 330 182, 21 Rue du Dix Neuf Mars 1962, 38690 Biol, France), uses cookies and similar technologies. It complements our Privacy Policy and should be read together with it.

1. What Is a Cookie

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, phone, tablet) by a website you visit. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels (web beacons), SDKs in mobile apps and server-side identifiers. In this Policy, the word “cookie” covers all of those.

Cookies serve many purposes: keeping you logged in, remembering your cart, measuring how the site is used, or showing you relevant content. Some cookies are strictly necessary; others require your consent under the GDPR, the French Loi Informatique et Libertés (as enforced by the CNIL) and the ePrivacy Directive.

2. How We Ask for Consent

The first time you arrive on zztirans.com, a consent banner lets you:

  • Accept all non-essential cookies;
  • Reject all non-essential cookies;
  • Set granular preferences by category.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. All other categories are off by default until you say otherwise. You can change your choice at any time by clicking the Cookie settings link in the website footer.

We use Google’s Consent Mode v2 so that analytics and advertising tags adjust their behaviour to your choice. If you refuse, no advertising cookies are written; analytics tags run in a cookieless, aggregated mode (or do not run at all, depending on your selection).

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are placed by third parties when their services load on our pages. We have signed data processing agreements with the relevant providers (GDPR Art. 28) or rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses where the data crosses borders.

  • Stripe (Ireland / US): payment security and fraud prevention.
  • Google Ireland (Google Analytics 4): aggregated audience measurement, with Consent Mode v2.
  • Hostinger International (Cyprus): CDN performance.
  • Mailchimp / Intuit (US): newsletter engagement tracking for opted-in subscribers.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland (Facebook Pixel): only if you accept marketing cookies.

These providers may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies; the durations above reflect their published values at the time of writing.

5. Withdrawing or Updating Your Consent

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:

  • Click the Cookie settings link in the website footer to reopen the preferences panel.
  • Delete cookies from your browser; the consent banner will appear again on your next visit.

You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Doing so may prevent core features such as the shopping cart from working correctly.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Major browsers send “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. There is currently no industry consensus on how these signals should be interpreted, so we do not act on DNT alone. We do honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where it is sent, treating it as an opt-out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as defined by the California CCPA / CPRA (§1798.135 of the California Civil Code).

7. Relationship with GDPR, ePrivacy and CCPA

  • Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive (transposed in France in Article 82 of the Loi Informatique et Libertés), non-essential cookies require freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent.
  • Under the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the same standard applies.
  • Under the California CCPA / CPRA, residents have the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information; the Cookie settings link and GPC handling described above implement this right.

If you have any question about our cookies, contact privacy@zztirans.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
